Jeffery scored the hole-in-one with a 7 Iron and had this to say about it: "On a beautiful breezy spring afternoon, my mother asked me if I wanted to substitute on her mixed golf league for my father. Of course I said "yes I would". I had to rush home from work and did not have time to go to my house to grab my clubs. So, I used my dads clubs which were in my moms car. I hit a beautiful tee shot that went straight up and straight at the hole but very very high. I did not see the shot go in the cup. I assumed I hit the ball over the green when I did not see the ball bounce. The man in our foursome who saw the ball go into the cup yelled "thats a hole in one" I Flipped him the bird and said "yeah right" I only believed it was in the cup when the foursome in front of us went back to the green and verified the ball was indeed in the cup. This didn´t really sink in until the next hole when I did not have to put! The hole was very pretty, with a pond on the right and an out of bounds fence on the left. A great 90% lucky 10% skill accomplishment no doubt. I have been trying to repeat the feat ever since. On this day I shot 40 for 9 holes. "
