I have played golf most of my entire life and never had a hole in one. Two weeks prior to this, I had played in an amateur event and played terrible. So terrible, I got home and put the clubs in the garage for two weeks and didn't take any swings.

Went out on a Thursday after work with my fiance and another couple to her favorite course down the street. Was enjoying the game again after the long break. Hit a nice wedge just past the hole on number 8, it spun back and trickled into the hole! I'm so glad she was there to see it since she is just learning the game.

Went to the clubhouse after 9 and got everyone a beer - its the rule! Keep swinging.
