On July 14th, 2021, I was playing with my normal group of guys. I had a terrible start to my round shooting 44 on the front. I made the turn with a solid tee shot and an approach that felt great. Hole 11 came and it was playing 177 into the wind. I had been working on a low fade on the range for about a month to assist with into the wind shots while maintaining control. I pulled an 8 iron and hit a great shot just short and left of the pin. The ball took one bounce and rolled like a putt to the center of the cup. It was great to be able to have this hole in one with my Titleist 8-iron and ProV1X. After 1500+ rounds I finally got my first hole in one. 44-37 on the round. Not a great total but a round I won’t ever forget.
