I have been golfing for about 30 years and was finally admitted into the Ace Club. Ironically I had not played in over a month due to a hand/wrist injury.

We saw the ball hit the green and knew it was a good shot but did not see it roll in due to the undulations in the green. When I got to the green I grabbed my putter and sand wedge, thinking the ball might have rolled off the green. After a quick half-hearted check of the surrounding area off the green I looked in the cup, and there it was.

I guess the game must have missed me as much as I have missed it and my Saturday golf buddies.

Happy to now check this off my bucket list.
