It was late summer in Phoenix and my dad was in town. My brother and I wanted to go golfing with him. We decided to go north to Prescott Valley and get out of the heat. So we played Stoneridge golf club, one of my favorite courses. Had a mediocre too bad first two holes. Started par-triple bogey. Then the 3rd hole happen. 172 yard par 3. Pin was a little up and the tee is a little elevated. Pulled my 8 iron and hit a beautiful shot. We couldn’t see the front half of the green because of some brush about halfway down the hill. We get to the green, and we can’t find my ball. It’s Arizona, so greens can be hard and the back can bounce anywhere. E we look around for a minute or two, then my dad asks if I checked the hole. I asked him why would I look in there? That never happens. The three of us all crept up to the hole and jumped and screamed and looked like three little children when we saw it. It was amazing!! The best part was that I got to share that once in a lifetime experience with my dad and my brother!!! I obviously saved my Pro V1x ball and will cherish it and the memory of that day for the rest of my life!!
