I was with my 17 year old son playing a quick 9 holes before I had to coach my 10 year old son's basketball game. It was a cold January day, roughly 42-45 degrees with 10-15 mph winds. On Hole 8 at River Run Country Club in Davidson, NC, the wind was blowing left to right. The Pin placement was back left on the green, a fairly tough location as we often go off the back of the green when it's placed there. I decided to play the middle of green give the wind and how cold the conditions were. It was a beautiful draw from right to left, using the wind and hit the center of the green. My son was like that's perfect! It started rolling right towards the pin and we got really excited. The ball disappeared and I was like it went off the back. My son was like let's run up there as he thought it was in. We were walking the course that day and basically jogged up to the hole. We were both like we don't see it and I was saying it probably rolled off the back. As soon as we checked the cup, we both started yelling and hugging each other. The beautiful thing is I think my son was equally or more excited than I was. Specially day on the course. Golf is a great game, a life game, one to be shared with family and friends. Thanks for Titleist for making a wonderful ball, it's the ball I play daily and have started buying logo balls for my company.
