Atlanta Country Club Post
This past Friday with the Salad Group turned into a day I won’t soon forget.
On the 13th hole — one of the signature par threes at Atlanta Country Club — the pin was tucked back left. From 137 yards, I hit a 9-iron that felt great off the clubface. The ball cleared the front, landed softly on the fringe about five feet right of the hole, and then began to roll.
And roll.
And roll.
About 15–20 feet later, it disappeared into the side of the cup.
Hole-in-one.
I had the privilege of sharing the moment with a great group — Joe Inman, Mike Harrison, and Chris Riley — and it made the experience even more special. This one marks my second ace, with the first coming nearly 30 years ago.
Grateful for great friends, a beautiful course, and one of those unforgettable ACC moments.
