As a bogey golfer never in my wildest dreams did I ever expect to get a hole-in-one. I decided to grab a tee time with one other gentlemen I've never met before as to show him to course while I wait for my normal group to show up. After hole one, we both headed to the blue tees on hole 2 and we're scoping the yardage. Pin was at the front of the green. 160 yards, and the ground is soaked from weeks worth of rain in southern Alabama. My thought process, club up, easy swing let's maintain control of this ball and try to get another par. Smooth, easy swing with a beautiful sound that I rarely hear when I hit a ball well. Ball started left of the pin, and faded right on top of the hole. I knew I hit the green but I couldn't see my ball. Knowing my luck, I told the gentlemen I was playing with to go ahead and tee up, my ball is likely just past the pin where we can't see it. He lands his ball on the green and we take the trip together, and that's when joyous emotions flooded my body with an achievement most golfers spend a lifetime trying to achieve, I did it and on Father's day weekend nonetheless!!!
