A lot of pros have put SCs in their bags. Even though they may have a contract to play clubs with a brand, it is my understanding they can choose their putter and sometimes driver other than their contacted brand. You have to go with what works and meets the eye.

Putting is all about trust...why not? He probably knows better than all of us

It will be interesting to see if he stays with the Phantom X5.5 (I think that is the model) or goes back to his other branded putter. I read that he was going to give the Cameron a 12 round trial (i.e., duration of the playoffs) before making a decision. He didn't make much over last weekend, that I could tell. Plus there was the side story of his caddie making a trip to a retail chain to have the putter length adjusted to more closely match his 'old' putter!

Cameron's are the best putters made, Rory would be best served to stick with it. Once I got mine and took a few weeks to settle in I have never looked back.

Not sure about anyone else, but I'm curious whether Rory will continue his 12-round trial with the Phantom X5.5 this week. He sure didn't make much yesterday (or Saturday), but it's not the putter when you continue to miss on the low side, putt after putt, right-to-left and left-to-right putts.

Maybe a couple of hours with a Pelz 'Putting Tutor' would help?
