I have won twice in twenty years. The first time was in 2007 which was my second try. At the time I was thinking that it would be great to win every two to three years. Then I went on a huge losing streak and didn't get picked until last year. I did not win for this year. I will keep entering every year and hope not to have a long drought for my third win.

I apply for lottery tickets every year for at least 20 years. and haven’t gotten a ticket yet. For me, filling out the application is the beginning of the golf season.

I've been fortunate enough to attend a few Masters and a few final rounds of the ANWA the past 3-5 years. I work in golf in the Augusta area, so I've been able to attend by various means. As for the lottery, I won Wednesday practice round tickets two years ago after trying for several years. I can only say that whenever the day comes that you're able to visit, it is well worth the wait.

The experience is second to none - just an A++ operation all around from the minute you park until you, unfortunately, have to leave. I promise you will not be disappointed.

I tried the lottery for the last four (4) years without any luck! I will keep on trying based on the feedback from the guys above!

Maybe one day I will get lucky and get a practice round (or REALLY lucky and get the weekend)!!

My son (different state) and I have been entering every year for I’ll guess a dozen years. He won 2 Saturday tickets in 2018. I’m still unsure if I’ll get a HIO or tickets next. Both have escaped me so far

I was lucky enough to win this year, its the first time I have won. It took 13 years. I am excited and looking forward to it!!

I've been entering the lottery routinely for the past 15 years and have not been fortunate enough to win tickets. I put in for max tickets allowed (4 on practice rounds and 2 on competitive rounds) every time. I've heard of people winning lottery tickets when they elect 2 tickets per practice round. One of my Men's Leage mates won some practice round tickets for this coming Masters.....so I'll keep trying. It does happen for some.

It goes without saying that I would be beyond thrilled to attend The Masters for any day of the tournament, practice or competitive. Once that happens, I've promised my wife a trip across the pond for The Open, as The Masters would definitely be a guy's trip. I've been able to attend a US Open, a PGA Championship and a Ryder Cup. Would love to attend the missing 2 majors.

Wow, I'm on the opposite side. I have been to the Masters, and won tickets to the 150th Open Championship at St. Andrews. I need to complete the rota with U.S. Open and PGA... although a Ryder Cup would be phenomenal too!

I'm 1-for-20. Got Monday practice round in 2021, then COVID had them pull tickets back. Nice part was they carried them over to the next year, so I was able to go in 2022. The experience was amazing. However, it felt like absolute torture to know I won, think I was going to have them only allow limited spectators and then have to wait another whole year.

Pimento cheese lives up to the hype, egg salad not as much in my opinion. Really the huge thing is the people. The staff are amazing.

Won in 2019 for the Tuesday practice round, nothing since. Definitely a bucket list experience. I'll keep plugging away for another chance to go.

We've won twice ('16 and '24) both times going on Wed. One thing we noticed is how many more people were there in '24 so it seems more tickets are being made available. You cannot win if you don't try and maybe this next time you too can win. BTW, we put in for the max # every year and we won 4 tickets each time we won.

While assigned to Ft. McPherson in Atlanta,I signed up for the post lottery every year I was there (87-89) and planned leave that week every year, just in case I won. Never did, but played a lot of golf those three weeks on my own instead. At the time, I believe it was about $10 per ticket for the practice rounds for the military. Have not tried since.

Have been to the Masters many times. Not since the lottery. Enter every year like everyone else. Only major have not made is the Open Championship. Also been to Ryder Cup. Have seen a lot of great golf. Very blessed.

Staring at my framed 2023 Monday practice round ticket right now! But it was my brother that won, and gave me one of the tickets thankfully.
Enter every year, and my 4 kids as well, still no luck personally. Thankful I got the one experience though!

I live in the area and have been fortunate to attend many Masters and the ANWA. I actually enjoy the ANWA more than the Masters. I’ve gotten tickets through the lottery a few times, but mostly through friends. Keep applying … getting rejected by ANGC is indeed ‘a tradition unlike any other!’

I have been applying for the lottery for at least 15 years and have never gotten picked. I keep signing up every year and wait for my yearly rejection email.

The last time I went is when you could buy practice round tickets at the gate. I got to follow Payne Stewart around. Did I just age myself?

This may surprise some people but in 2000 I had 12 practice tickets I could not use with 4 for each day…. Believe it or not; I could not give them away! I tried to give them away for free but no one was interested (and I asked along golfers).

Amazing! Since then I have been fortunate to play there three times and give away tickets but I thought I would share my story as an amazing point in history!

Nuts. Nice story but I didn’t meet you until 2011/2012..

It is only a three hour drive to Augusta from my front door. That was way before we met. I remember paying $10.50 for practice rounds and all we had to do was walk up. It is just too crowded now. Been there and done that so many times much more fun for me to watch it on TV. BUT everyone needs The Masters Experience at least once. Playing there is an experience that very few get. Where the game of golf is respected.

I was lucky enough to work there when I was a kid and my parents were stationed at fort Gordon. My dad was the manager there so very plugged into the golf scene so he signed me up to work probably so he could :) it was an amazing experience that I cherish and regret not keeping it going once I moved up to WA (parents stationed again at FF Lewis this time)

2016 my buddy won the lottery for four tickets to Tuesday and we took our dads down for the trip. It was even better as an adult when I could fully appreciate where I was.

But to answer your question I’ve entered the lottery every year for about the last 30 years and haven’t been selected. Gotta keep the hope alive though,….
