    Hello-

I have a Super Select Del Mar putter. It is 35" length and I am going to change it to a 36" shaft.

Should I increase the weights in the putter with the added length?

Current weights: Heel: 10 grams Toe: 10 grams

    Thank you for your help.

  2. No, you need to go down in weight to 5 grams…

As noted, to maintain a proper swingweight you will want to reduce the weight in the longer setup. Get some 5 gram weights and you will be ok.
  4. You may need to also backend grip weight the putter….thus pick a grip that is heavier than your current grip in order to lower the swingweight…I have even used the grip butt weights from Super Stroke.
