Earlier this week I saw this little beauty pop up on Facebook and was able to trade a Bettinardi I had sitting around for it. Supposedly it's the original Oil Can finish with the original shaft band and head over. For the age it's in pretty good condition. I'm not sure if anyone even uses these anymore but I thought it was pretty cool.

  2. I have this same putter in its original state...very cool and beautiful...cant bring myself to taking it out on the course...it stays on my indoor putting green.

I ended up taking this out to the practice green a couple nights ago and then played nine holes with it yesterday. I really enjoyed it and played pretty well with it. It has a very different feel than what I’ve been using lately, but I’ve also been using mallets so probably not a good comparison.

I love how it looks in its current condition. I may try to clean it up just a little bit but to me, it has a really good amount of character built into it right now. It gives me the feeling of a Jordan Spieth type of old, faithful putter.

Ooh. That is a great gamer to trade for. Looks all original from sole to the grip too, which is an added bonus. Im sure it has a great feel too as you make many birdies!
