i try and play by the rules because i want to know my "true" score when i'm done. i don't really care if my playing partners follow the rules until they start bragging if they beat me. when and if they start bragging i'll politely remind them that i had a true score. they will stop bragging when they realize that. i know that my handicap is correct becasue i count all my strokes. i like to know what i shoot.

Interesting story, Chris. I think that may be taking the game a bit too seriously. You have to wonder if there were a lot of $$$ on the line or not or what else was involved. I'm passionate about my golf, but not passionate enough to get in a fight about it!
