On 4 January 2015, first round for the year I shot 70 on a par 71. Not only broke par but broke my age. Used PROV1x.

  13. A great story.  But you must be a low handicap golfer anyway.  I just turned 70 yesterday,  I only recently took up the game seriously,  and my goal for 2015 is to break 90!  I also grew up in Philly but never touched a club until I was over 40, and then very infrequently.  What shaft flex do you use?  Have a great season.   You are well ahead of Tiger already! lolSubmit

Congratulations!! I've been playing for 47 years now and at 67 years of age I'm approaching the range where I could possibly achieve this milestone. My question to the group is this: recently, on a vacation to Las Vegas, I played a par 59 course and on my trips there I shot 63 and 67. Does this count as shooting one's age? I haven't claimed the achievement, but I was wondering reading Allen's post, if I would qualify, or does this act have to be done on a "regulation" course? Thanks for any help. Mike

Great score, for any time of year. We have 2 feet of snow in Southern Ontario today, golf season seem like a long way off.(sigh)
