    I have been reading the Golf Digest Hot List issue and again, the golf club manufacturers are promising something new. Every year, new models are introduced and promise to be the best club for you....until next year. I want to thank Titleist for not being in that group. I have played TM, and cally, now with all Titleist in the bag from my 913D2 to my Scotty putter, I know I have the best possible equipment. Titleist brings out new models every two years, based on R&D, not yearly based on marketing! I just wanted to get that out there and let Titleist know how I appreciate that quality is the goal, not dollars! Thank you, Dave Phelps

    Couldn't agree more. I never have to look at Titleist equipment and decide if it is just the hot color for the year or just trying to start a new fad.  Working with my trusted fitter/coach, what equipment I need Titleist will have and it will be fit for me.  I won't have to change my game for the equipment.  I had both a tour van experience and time at Manchester Lane.  I'm so comfortable with my bag I just skimmed the Hot List to see if the other new lines made any sense.  Skipping the local golf show - nothing from the Hot Lists excites me to go out in 10F weather.

    The R&D that Titleist puts in to it's many products is one of the reasons why I've been using ALL Titleist since the very beginning. They're working on stuff that we may not see for 6+/- years. They won't release anything until they KNOW that it's ready.
