1st round of the year with a good dude...

    I finally played my first round up here in New England and a good way to start the year.. 

    I played with Josh aka Hotsauce.  If you ever get the chance to tee it up with him, do it..  The dude is not only a great player but a lot of fun to chat with.  He's got some good stories to share... 

    We tee it up at Campbell Scottish Highland in Salem NH @ 7:30 a.m.  Not a very long course at all but a good course to start the year and work off the rust.   And when you play Josh, plan on bringing some cash.  Dude loves to bet..   we did 5-5-10.  Josh gave me 2 strokes on the front and back.  

    Front 9:  I was up 3 with 4 holes to play.  Josh played unreal the last 4 holes and ended up tying..   The dude just doesn't get nervous...  

    Back 9:  We tied the 10th and told Josh let's play straight up.. I ended up winning 2-1..   A good start for me and definitely gave me some confidence..

    Nice Pics there Chris, good playing. Anytime someone other than yourself has to go into their wallet it's been a good day !

    Fun getting a game in with you too Speedy.  You played well and deserved the W.  Don't go spending all that cash on ProVs and Cameron covers...  I have a feeling it'll come back my way on the next loop!

    Nice Chris! Playing money games now eh? Campbell's Scottish Highlands is a fun course. Short but fun. 18th is a cool hole!

    Looks like a good day - shorts no less.  So you guys opted not to make the road trip south?  We'll definitely have to get together for a round this spring!

    Hey George,  courses are starting to open up slowly,  up here at least.  My course, Portsmouth isn't even open yet...  The course we played just opened up on a few weeks ago and heard it was in good shape so we stayed local.  And the weather ended up being perfect that day...   But now i'm hearing a cool down this week..  whatever that means... 

    I definitely would love to get together and tee it up soon.  We'll have to throw out a few dates and maybe meet in the middle of MA somewhere..

    Great story and glad to hear you folks up in the northeast are finally getting out from under the snow and bank out on the golf course again! Thanks for sharing the story and the pictures.
