I would love to eat my lunch on the way to the driving range if there was one close to where I worked, But for now I try to get out and get a walk in and some fresh air.

I have an indoor range across the street from work so I eat my lunches there after hitting about 100 or so balls, which can sometimes feels like a cardio workout.

Love it.... Here's a thought and what I have found to be very benefical in my life:
Of course.....We have been playing golf here in Utah all winter long, which helps in a ll aspects... Keep it in the Fairways!

I only have a 30 minute lunch, which after I eat is more like 15. I've been using the time to pursue my other passion - practicing with my guitar.

That's the beauty of Top Golf in Dallas. You can practice and eat lunch!

Much rather hit the range if i had one close by.. I can just eat my lunch while i'm working... Workout is after work, no place to shower...

I'd love to be able to get some swings in at lunch, but I unfortunately don't have a range close enough.

Its good to hear what you fella's do for lunch. I'm really enjoying retirement. Play 18 on foot by lunch time then take a nap, followed by DVR episodes of Gunsmoke till super time. I do take Saturday's off for rest so playing golf is kinda like a job.

I opt to work through my lunch period so I can leave earlier and head to the course!

Mike,
I retired in 2014, so I now have enough time to do all the items on the list plus many more. The really nice part, I get to pick and choose what I want to do and in what order everyday. When I was working we only had 30 minutes for lunch, so I spent that 30 minutes eating and reading the paper (there was no way I could get to a range and back in 30 minutes).

Seeing that I only have a 30 min lunch, there is no time to hit the range. But the weather has improved and now I can do my pre dinner routine and hit the range on my way home and my wife has no clue.Yeah right she had me figured out the first week.LOL

Given what I do it is usually client lunches or driving range

Lunch takes precedence for me, when I'm not on the course during my "lunch hour." Sort of hard to tell when you're retired and play 4-6 times a week.

Would love to hit the range, but with a 45 minute lunch break, I do not have the time...

With proper time planning and prioritization, you can do all three. Gym work is first thing in the morning. Eating as much as you can after the gym to keep fueled for the day. Small snacks on the go. I don't eat again until I'm finished for the day usually around 9 pm. Golf is a priority always. Get as much in during the daylight hours. My thoughts are always, "I'm losing light! Gotta get out to the course!" Go to bed, dream about golf, my swing, shots, how I can improve. Rest. Repeat first thing in the morning!

Unfortunately...we do not have a driving range close enough to enjoy during lunch. My lunch usually consists of eating the much anticipated "desk lunch" and getting my golf fix here on Titleist.com.

For me, the range is out of the question as it is to far away from work to get there and back during my lunch break, so walking is my first choice. We have walking trails at work which make choosing this option a easy choice as well. Other than the fitness benefit that the walking provides the trails help prepare me for walking the course after work and on the weekends as the temperatures increase here in the south... As for lunch its usually a sandwich which I can eat on the fly.
