    TT Members,

As we head into this Memorial Day weekend, whether you are on the course, picnicking with your family or enjoying some other leisure activity, take a moment to stop and remember those that have made the ultimate sacrifice for our freedom!

Not only on Memorial Day but on everyday should we thank those that paid the ultimate sacrifice, and those who continue to serve our great nation.

    Thanks for the great post!

Absolutely will never forget those who made the ultimate sacrifice so that we can enjoy our freedom.

    Great post Barry.

  11. In my family history are veterans of the American Revolution, the Civil War, WWII, and Viet Nam.  Memorial Day is the most important holiday of the year to me.

    Don't forget, thank a vet

Thank every single one that you meet or pass by.  Especially take a moment with those of "the greatest generation", as more and more of our WWII veterans pass on.  For those of you who have served, whether at home or abroad, thank you, thank you, thank you.   Many, especially of the "greatest generation", went as "kids", 17, 18 years old and even sneaking in at 16, leaving school, and some never getting their education.  Take a look at your own kids that may be this age, whom you don't want to trust past curfew, and imagine them, or yourself as a scared "kid" halfway around the world being shot at in a strange land.   NEVER, NEVER, EVER FORGET, those who have done their part, and who ultimately ".......gave the last full measure of devotion".   I never served in the military, having joined on with the police department the day I was supposed to sign up with the Marine Corps.  But thankfully my father instilled in me an appreciation for what our service veterans have done, and continue to do.  Thank you very much to those who have given and those who have sacrificed, and your families.  God's peace and blessing be with you all.
