Plan A was to have my hip replaced in the late fall, using New England's winter for rehab and be ready to go next spring. Ended up having to go to plan b, with surgery last Friday. Hoping to be hitting balls in 4 -6 weeks. Not a happy camper!

    Thomas,

I hope you have a speedy recovery and are able to get out on the course this summer!!

Thomas, hope you have a speedy and complete recovery. Don't rush things too much, recovery from any surgery takes time.

Tom, I had my hip replaced 22 years ago and it's still going strong. Take your time and treat it right. Do your exercises and don't abuse it. The incision area will take the longest to recover as it will remain tender for awhile. Once you get comfortable again, you will be amazed at how good life is again without pain. Be patient and good luck.
