I'm retiring to Boise this spring after living in Alaska for 40 yrs. my wife an I have no friends or family there and she don't play golf. So I'm hoping to find some team members that would like to tee up with. I've been a titlist member for some time now and a old worn out mechanic for a lot longer. I'm USGA and soon to join up the Idaho team so maybe get hooked up in a league and some tournaments . So see ya there for a few beers and a couple rounds. o' yah my bag is full of the #1 clubs in golf from 716ap1 with project x 5.5 pxi shafts,913d,915f,913h,816h,three vokey. and a scotty.

I was in Boise for business in the fall. Squeezed in a round at Quail Hollow and ran through part of Warm Springs on the trail along side the Boise River. Quail Hollow was a former private club and the views and some of the tees are outstanding. I feel a little jealous - not time to retire and only have a 7 month golf season in WI.

Maybe I had a good day, but at the elevation, I was hitting the par 5's in regulation. I attribute it to the thin air. Enjoy.

    D. Marshall - A little late getting in on this thread for this year. I hope you have been enjoying our courses here in Idaho. I am just a for fun golfer so not sure I have the best perspective to give you. If you are interested I developed a site specifically to help out people new to Idaho find golf courses near them and the fees and contact info. It is www.idgolfcourses.com. It is free I just got tired of trying to hunt down all the info or get out of date info so I made my own. I like the easy courses like Boise Ranch GC or Eagle Hills but have also play Shadow Valley but it is a bit out of the way for me.
Hope you are enjoying the courses.
(Let me know if that site is useful to you, I would appreciate the feedback)
