Did a long weekend with the Fit for Spring at Pinehurst. I used it as a father-son trip and did Tobacco Road and #2 and #9. In between Tony Cordes took care of us from the fitting center. I added an SM6 52 degree to fit with my 714 AP1 PW and my sand wedge. It is my new favorite wedge. My son, still barely following my advice, was all over the course on Friday with a TM hybrid. His new favorite club is his 816 H1 and the TM will be on the PGA Network for sale shortly. He was sold even before we got it dialed in for a setting and it was getting him to the front of the greens on par 5s on #2 that afternoon. Slowly but surely I'll get his bag fully converted. We had enough time for me to trial the 916 AP2 with the XP90 shaft. It was magic, but that will have to be added to my want/wish list for later. I really appreciate what the Titleist Team staff does to help us enjoy the game. Playing Pinehurst #2 was a real treat that I might not have done on my own. Thanks for putting together the package.

Sounds like some great Father-Son time! And, great work getting that other brand out of his bag the best brand in golf in his bag... :)

Another terrific promotion put on by Titleist. Well done!
  3. What a great trip! Those memories are priceless. The over/under for how long it takes for your son to be fully bagged with Titleist clubs? I say 3 months. Haha

Turn over your 714's to him and go for the 716's. That's what I do with my kids. It's only fair for you to get the new stuff.

    Thanks for sharing.

LOL, I would pass the 714s down if I could get a son that was LH... Both are RH.
