My son broke the shaft on his 913D Driver. The shaft broke off in the tip .

How hard a fix is this ? If I take to Golf Exchange can they fix while I wait ?

Any help on this would be appreciated .

Maybe not while you wait, but maybe possible if they are a large enough shop that has all on hand, and are not swamped with re-grip specials and other broken shafts ahead of you, but they can fix it. It will involve getting the broken piece out, drilling it out if needed, making sure all of the broken shaft if out, and then putting in a new shaft, and epoxying it in.
  3. Yeah it's gonna cost you the price of a new shaft so depending on the one your son gets on with the best it could get expensive.

May be cheaper to look for a shaft on-line for the same make and tip. I had same issue and was able to find identical. I look at Dallas Golf or EBAY.
  5. Its a simple fix. 10 minutes max
  6. Not 10 minutes but generally easily done.

If it is a Scotty Cameron you can go to his site and the will do whatever you want, for a price of course.

Depending on the price of the shaft and labor, you could possibly upgrade to a newer model driver.
