Been awhile since I posted here. It’s been an amazing season of growing for me. Playing for 16 months now. Took my handicap from 41.0 to a low of 33.9. Started to figure out my 716 AP2’s been told time and time again to get a bigger iron but I am determined to play well with what I have! I also joined the Vererans Golf Association and have been playing in tournaments my best score was a net 68! Well hope everyone had a great summer as winter rules approach I can get back to the basics and practice instead of keep scores for a couple months

Sometimes golf isn't always about score, if you have a set of clubs that you like the way they look and enjoy having them, keep using them man! Of course theres going to be equipment that can make things seem a little easier, as long as you know that and are happy with what you got, Don't let someone else tell you what to use!

With respect, the highest handicap a male can have is a 36.4 and a female 40.4 under the USGA Handicap system.
Glad to see that it is seeing some improvement. Have fun playing in the VGA and playing in their tournaments. Fortunately we get to play 365 days along the coast of SC. No winter rules. It does take time.

Progress is always a good thing. I believe most of us have been there and as you're experiencing; things will get better. Keep grinding and enjoy the walk.

Nice what have you been doing to lower your handicap? Lessons?

Also love the hat but lets ditch that water of a beer you're drinking LOL

No lessons just watching YouTube videos over and over and over and practicing what the video says until I figure it out.

Keep up the good work toward finding your game, so many high(er) handicap players try to use/find other peoples game & swing & get down with slow or lack of progress. I finally been playing more this year & have worked my way back down from a 23 hdcp to a 12.5 as of 2 weeks ago.

Glad you are progressing & always happy to hear of ones progress.
    Keep it going.
