New Vokey Design SM9 wedges (the next generation of the PGA Tour’s most-played wedges) are making their debut this week at the Sentry Tournament of Champions in Maui.

Bob Vokey, Aaron Dill, and the rest of the Vokey team have spent the past 2 years tirelessly testing and refining prototypes with the top players in the world. Now it’s time to put them through their final test on golf’s biggest stage.

Be sure to stay tuned to Titleist.com and our social channels (Twitter, Instagram, Facebook, TikTok) over the coming weeks for updates as the introduction of SM9 wedges rolls out across the worldwide professional tours.

My clubs were stolen on Dec 18. I have borrowed older wedges from a friend. So I am HIGHLY anticipating the launch and placing my order the same day.

That's a bummer! But exciting to get fresh wedges. Allan, maybe you can ask Aaron to put if found please contact: _____
    On David's wedges. Haha.

I worry about my clubs all the time. I had my bicycle stolen last year. And car Broken into a week ago. My cousin and my friend keep their clubs in their trunk. I think they are crazy!

Hopefully they can recover your set. Those clubs won't see any birdies with that bad karma on them.

    Best of luck in 2022!
  10. Agreed, that is why I have insured mine for replacement value of current costs. Never leave your clubs in the car or truck as the heat can break down the epoxy.

I have an Apple Air Tag hidden in the bottom of my golf bag for just this reason. It's not a perfect system but if the unthinkable happens, maybe it will help me recover something.

    Great idea!
  13. I keep my clubs on my cart all the time. Leave them on when I go to store or a restaurant etc.
Here in The Villages, Florida. There is very little crime and most is done from people outside of our community.
I have a full bag of Titleist clubs. Driver, Fairway woods, Irons, Vokey wedges, and Scotty putter. Along with Titleist golf balls. Lots and lots of people here do the same thing.

The finish is striking. Has a powder coated look. Looking forward to seeing more and maybe a championship for the PGA players who add them this event.
  20. What will the MSRP be on these?
  21. Too much. They are already ridiculously over priced as are all brands. They are rally nice though. I will be sticking with my SM5, SM6. My guess is 249.99 at Golftown.
  22. Pretty sleek looking! So curious if titleist is going to join the full face groove club or keep it traditional. I’m hoping the latter!

Can’t wait to see what’s improved.
  23. I gotta say, the full face grooves sure do look cool huh?
Being a single-digit handicap who prides myself on short-game, especially my one hop and stop chipping, I've never once been the beneficiary of, or needed the full face grooves on wedges I've experimented with (PMickelson grind/TM)..
    Its gimmicky..
I like to open the clubface up a touch and play a 61.5 degree, but I've never found myself saying "if only I could have some more grooves out on the toe"
No one should be making contact that high up on the clubface or out on the toe to need those grooves..
Keep the grooves where they matter and give me as much spin as you can!
    Titleist always does it right!

Voke when will we see the TVD K grind back in the lineup for the 56 and 60??
  25. Please make them in lefty as well, then I would switch out my SM5 and SM6.

Wow, these look absolutely stunning and gorgeous. I can’t wait for these to be released in the UK. I am looking to upgrade my current SM6 wedges. I would also love the opportunity if it was allowed and possible to trial these out with the new Pro V1X’s and see how they both perform

I can’t wait to see more on the development of this new model! I really like the look of these and the subtle changes compared to the SM8s.
  30. I really don't know how you can improve upon Perfect (SM7 and SM8), but if you have I can't to get them in My Bag!!!
  31. Received an email that these will debut on tour this week but I cannot find out any additional information on model changes, etc.

I'm in need of a new 56* and have been holding off for the SM9 but often when a newer model is announced/released the previous model will be on decent sale.

With this my 52 and 60 are SM8s and I really enjoy those. Does anyone know if the SM9 will be markedly different?

    Thanks in advance!

  32. How long before they are available in retail
