  1. Hello. I play the AP1 718 irons with the Red tensi A flex shafts. The same shaft is in my 818 h1 hybrids. I am looking to purchase the TS2 driver. Should I be looking at the same shaft for the driver.

    Regards Mel

    Mel,

    Not necessarily.

Hi have AP1 716's with KuroKage A flex shafts, two TS fairways with KuroKage black R shafts and 917D with Project X Evenflow Blue R shaft.

Don't forget the irons are hitting down and driver generally up and shaft is longer so kick point and weight will be additional factors to ensure you get the right launch and spin,

Go see a fitter preferably a Titleist fitter at a #TitleistThursday and they will fit you in the right TS head and shaft.

  3. Mel,
There is only one answer to your question - Get Fitted.
A fitting, particularly for a driver, is a great experience. How often do you get the chance to have a qualified pro, with a battery of technology, give you their full attention in order to take the guesswork out of buying a driver?
You may need different shafts across your set so that you can optimise your distances relative to your swing.
    Try it...It certainly helps.
