I’m a lucky attendee of 3 Team Titleist Invitationals, and was the sole female attendee (not including Titleist staff) at my first one in Kohler, WI. It was a little intimidating but with the encouragement from my husband, Abdon, I overcame my fear and was pleased to be welcomed and accepted as a participant and player. There were three more female attendees at the next TTI at Bandon Dunes and at the most recent TTI at Streamsong, we female attendees received female-specific TT swag which was so cool! TT polo, and TT jacket - amazing! Look forward to seeing more ladies on the boards and at the upcoming events!

Lisa M, Keep showing up and sharing your experience with other women. Commit to bringing one or two friends with you next time. Numbers will grow. Keep up the good work, doing your part growing this demographic within Team Titleist.

Lisa. sure was great to meet you at Streamsong. What a great personality and you two go together like peanut butter and jelly. I would love to see more TT involvement by females grow. Over the years I have been involved with the LPGA, which is my favorite tour. Also I see a lot of involvement by more female celebrities at a local Pro/Am I am involved with locally. I think that by setting up pre-announced divisions in the registration by Titleist at these events for open, seniors and ladies might increase involvement at the annual events. Just thinking out loud, with respect to all it takes to put on one of these events (did event planning with previous employer and professional organization and it is a son of gun to pull off). Let's build our membership and attendance at our events.

P.S. Lisa hope you got your new clubs? ; )

Nice to have you around, Lisa. I know there are so many more like you lovin’ the game. Anything that can be done to encourage participation here and on the course, should be. Seems like Titleist is up for it. I know I am.

It's great to hear there have been women attending TT events. I always wondered, when reading about them, how many women were there even though they sounded like so much fun. I've always wanted to attend one, but the fear of being the only woman (yay for you on being so brave) and not the most consistent golfer has kept me away. To hear that women are starting to join in has changed my position and I would most definitely consider attending a TT event in the future.

Yes, you should definitely consider future events! You will love it!
And if I am lucky enough to go to more of them, hope to meet and play with you :)
  7. The event at Pine Needles was really well organized. The practice facility there is next level, I spent all day hitting clubs, getting hit for my ball, and getting swing help from coaches like Sally Austin and Donna Andrews. I'm going back in a few weeks for one of Donna's 2 day boot camps. I can't wait to hit the new short game loop with my new SM9 wedges.

It's great to hear from someone who got to attend the Pine Needles Event! I wasn't able to consider attending it due to scheduling and distance but it sounded like a great outing!
I'd love to hear more about your experience, Kim. Was it a single day event? How many attendees?

I think this is really awesome Titleist recognizing women golfers. It was nice to see women at Streamsong, including Lisa. I told my wife after the check-in event, that she has to start coming to the TTI. She is new to golf but what a great way for her to continue to fall in love with the game than being a part of the Titleist family.

Can't wait for more events and post from our female Titleist members.
