Play the NXT Tour S/Yellow---The poor man's PRO V1X; love the yellow! Not as long off the tee as the NXT Tour, but very consistent fairway to green. The faster the greens are, S stays closer to the hole; putt's great.....
  2. I have played this ball for the past five years and find it is easier to see and also provides as much distance as my playing buddies and their ProV's. I have also had two holes in one in the last two years with my NXT high optic yellow balls.

Agree with those who want NXT Tour in yellow. I'm 71 playing to a 12 and each NXT is all I need. Just bought 2 dozen of each. Lots of good balls these days, but NXT is the standard for us non-scratch players.
  5. Tried other balls recently and was pretty amazed at the overall performance of the NXT Tour ball. Long off the tee, great feel on all iron shots, and stops on a dime. Love these balls and no reason to go elsewhere- GREAT JOB TITLEIST!!!
  6. I'm a older senior that still plays a decent round of golf. My handicap currently is 9. The reason I like the Tileist NXT Tour S is it feels good, goes further for me than Pro Level balls like ProV1 and I like the yellow color that differentials my ball from my other players. In addition, the Next Tour S ball is as good as any professional ball around the green. It stops, easy to control chip shots and putts as good as any other ball.

I've just recently purchased a new complete bag. And narrowing it down between the two for my game with a 15 hcp. Still undecided on which to stick with all through the round. I like them both, still testing on which one I will favor the most. Tough to decide to which Tour or Tour S to put in play.

I LIKE THE NXT TOUR SO MUCH BETTER THAN THE PROV1 AND PROV1X. BETTER FEEL AND EASY TO WORK AROUND THE GREENS. THEY HAVE GOOD WORKABILITY. VERY IMPRESSED WITH THE NXT TOUR. TAKE FOR MAKING A GREAT BALL.

I voted for the yellow choice...so easy to see on dormant Bermuda in the winter. Also great in the twilight. Please make ProV's in yellow!
  11. Don't really have to worry about cold weather here in Arizona, so I start every round with DT Trusoft. After 2nd hole (as this older body starts to loosen up), switch to NXT Tour. After 4th hole, it's the Pro V1x the rest of the way. The last couple of weeks where it's been over 110 degrees every day, I just start with Pro V1x. Some days, when I'm feeling frisky, I'll play another round in the afternoon. Not too bad for a guy who'll be 70 in a ouple of months.
  12. I like the NXT tour ball better than any Titelist ball that I have played. Previousy I was playing the Pro V and I prefer the Nxt now. It is accurate off the tee and the distance is comparable to the Pro V. The feel is right for me.

The NXT Tour S has great feel all around.

I favor the NXT Tour S over the NXT Tour and the PRO V1X. For my age (70) and swing speed, I seem to achieve better yardage off the tee, with this ball.

I also like the option of getting the balls in yellow.

For the price, the overall performance is amazing. It's a little hard to swallow the $50 cost of a dozen ProV1's.

Honestly, Rick, not a fan of either ball. Prov1s. People I hear talk about them like the price. Not a big seller at our course and I play at a muni. Provs are our biggest sellers.
  17. Great winter ball I play the nxt s in the colder months and pro v1 during summer and warmer just better fit for me for all around feel.
