YOU GIVE EACH PRO-V GOLF BALL A CLOSE EYE
BALL INSPECTION & YOU WILL SEE SEVERAL AIR
BUBBLES IN THE PAINT ,NOT IN ONE BALL ,BUT EVERY BALL. & I HAVE USED THAT BALL FOR 15
    YRS.

Can you shed light on the amount of bounce one should seek in a wedge? I understand there is an L grind that ha little bounce that many of the pros use as they can be more exact with their shots.

    Hi Abby,
I have a question for Voke:

What are his thoughts on extended grooves farther towards the toe? Given some wedge shots have an open face resulting in a glanced blow, some impact points are towards the edge if not partially out of the grooves. This seems to result in less spin on short shots that would benefit from additional control.

    Thanks,
    John
  4. why not insert a tiny amount of liquid in the center in a small hallow space which would reduce the spin. by friction.
  5. This is for Mr. Vokey as well as Mr. Cameron. Would a graphite shaft on a putter be of any benefit, or detriment for that matter? Same for graphite on my favorite club of all time - my Vokey 56 degree M-grind, which currently sports a steel Spinner shaft. Thanks - Tony Borowiecki / Mt. Pleasant,SC

p.s. Bob: I'd love to see what you could do designing a full set of irons. That would be sweeeeet.

Tested the Pro VI demo ball I received in Nov. 2016. I played in southeast NY in high 30 to low 50 temps in wet , dry and windy conditions and found the same consistency that I always find with a Titleist ball. I found it went a little farther and flew a little better into the wind and not too much spin when hitting the greens. As usual it had great feel off my wedges and putter. It gets an A+.
  7. I am a big fan of Titleist products and apparel, especially Titleist Hats. When are we going to see Hats in the old newsboy style in various materials with the iconic Titleist script logo on the back to be worn on and off the course. It seems a style of hat worn by the old golfers has come back with pro players. I see many young people wearing them around town backwards . What a way to promote the Titleist Brand.
Also when are we going to be able to buy Titleist items such as coffee mugs, wallets, outerwear. Want to promote the Titleist brand everywhere. Thanks.

  8. Are any of you hiring???
  9. Good morning Abby:
I'm over 73 and have a much slower swing that I did several years ago when I played the Pro V1. I now play the NXT, am I doing the proper thing.

  10. Hi Team,
Question about the dimples on the golf balls. I know they are for the aerodynamics, to make it travel further, and make it more stable. My questions is, what determines the depth of the dimple? Has any studies been done on varying the depths, number of simples, area of dimples?
Love you golf balls and clubs, they are superior to any other brand, in my opinion. Good luck with the Expo.
    Thanks.

To both Voke and Scotty - what is one improvement you wish you could implement in your designs with disregard to conforming lists.

    Thanks

My question is for Voke or Aaron.
I had an awesome wedge fitting experience last summer during Titleist Thursdays. I found out that I have the wrong bounce in all but one of my four wedges. How often do you see amateurs such as myself playing the wrong bounce? What can be done to educate people about the importance of bounce and the conditions they play?

What's does Mr. Vokey and Mr. Dill think is the best wedge set to carry ?
Does Mr. Cameron still carry 2 putters ?

    Thanks

Question for Scotty Cameron. Will carbon putter heads ever be offered again as a retail option in the future? Thanks from a Cameron loyalist since '99

What are the details for the new Pro V1 and Pro V1X, how are they different from previous versions (feel, trajectory, spin, etc).

    Thank you!!

Thanks Abby for providing an outlet to get some of our questions answered by Scotty, Voke and the Titleist Golf Ball Staff.

    I have a few questions:

    1) Titleist does a great job sending out test ball to Members of Team Titleist for feedback. Are there examples of where TT feedback made an impact on a final design?

    2) This one is directed to Scotty Cameron. Do you have a favorite model in the new 2017 line up?

    3) Voke, will we ever see the return of the blue finish?

    Thanks,
    Tyler
  19. Hey Abby L.,

My question is regarding wedge groove wear. How much does the wear and tear of playing and practicing effect the grooves on a wedge? Will a newer wedge with fresher grooves perform noticeably better than an older one?

If that is the case is there a good rule of thumb for when to switch out wedges? How often are the guys on the PGA TOUR putting fresh wedges into their bags?

Have there been any times that feedback from testing made an impact on a final design? Like the focus groups we took part in, it was such a great time, can you explain if/how this went into the design and development of a ball?
