I play with it in for the most part, but I will pull it when it is windy or for the really short putts between 2-5 ft... something about the way it looks in my peripheral vision when I am really close to it distracts me.

With that in mind, I would like to pose a second question to the group to follow up on the OPs... if you had to choose to always take it out or always leave it in (for a given round), which way would you go?
