15' is 15', either way, who wouldn't want to be closer to the hole? Most people never have a putt inside 20-25' in a round, especially for birdie. I'm a low handicap, that 15' for me could be a couple shots a round. 5 yards off the tee is very little, in the big picture.

Both can be achieved. But less club makes accuracy easier.

Closer to pin takes stress off putting game.... Easy choice!

I would take 5 feet closer to the pin everyday! Sure it feels good to bomb one off the tee but easier putts all day long is the choice!
  9. I am happy with my distance so 5 feet closer for sure, more birdies and par saves.

Who wouldn't want more length off the tee? But, my misses are GIR and hitting it closer to the flag is the ultimate goal.

I went with 5 yards longer. That means on every par 4 and 5 I am at least 10 yards longer given I am 5 yards longer with my driver and 5 yards longer with my second shot. Presumably I would be hitting a shorter club into the green, I probably could give myself 5 feet closer more often than not.

5 feet closer is good but given we are all amateur golfers; we are not exactly knocking down flags. If my proximity to the hole is 20 feet on average, now I am only 15 feet. Not exactly drastically increasing my birdie looks. PGA Tour leader is 21 feet from 150-175 BUT from 125-150 the PGA Tour leader is 10.5 feet. So what could 5 yards do for

5 ??yang a shorter club in would give me more opportunities to knock down a flag and reduce my proximity to the hole.
