    There is a Club Special sitting on my desk. During the 1970s my home course was in such tough shape that we played with old balls and kept a like new ball to putt with. The idea of putting with a Club Special was that the softer ball could be struck more forcefully on heavy greens.

    I own a golf course in Michigan. I find 100s of balls every week, and many vintage balls. I would attach I picture if there was a way of the brand new looking acushnet club special 1 I just found in the creek yesterday
